Taurani To Remake Amar Akbar Anthony
Nope, its not Sajid Nadiadwala who is producing the 1977 hit with the three Khans
Everyone was in for a big surprise this week. Rumour had it that Sajid Nadiadwala was roping in the three Khans Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman for his film. Buzz was that the ambitious project would be a remake of the hit multi-starrer, Amar Akbar Anthony.
Needless to say, this piece of news left everybody spellbound. We couldn’t wait for the films reported release in 2017.
However, SpotboyE.com has it that its not Sajid but Ramesh Taurani who is remaking the 1977 blockbuster.
Yes, the rights of Amar Akbar Anthony are with the head honcho of Tips, who intends to remake the classic soon.
A source close to the producer told SpotboyE.com, “Taurani will be producing the Amar Akbar Anthony remake. The film will roll sometime this year. They are deciding on the cast and will make a formal announcement soon.”
